Results and risk labels

Every trading result needs context.

Automated trading products often blur the line between backtests, sim, prop-firm activity, and live accounts. DayTradePal keeps those contexts separate so traders can understand what they are actually reviewing.

Result labels

Know what kind of result you are looking at.

Live

Real account outcomes are labeled separately.

Live-account results depend on account type, connection, liquidity, slippage, fees, settings, and market conditions.

Prop firm

Firm rules matter.

Prop-firm outcomes can depend on changing rules, allowed platforms, account limits, payout policies, and trader configuration.

Simulated

Practice results are not live results.

Simulated activity can help review behavior, but it does not recreate every live-market cost or execution condition.

Backtested

Historical tests are research.

Backtests and replay review can support product research, but they do not guarantee future performance.

Costs

Costs change the outcome.

Fees, commissions, subscriptions, platform costs, slippage, and taxes can materially affect any trading result.

Guarantees

No result is promised.

DayTradePal does not promise monthly income, prop-firm payouts, loss prevention, or a certain trade outcome.

Results context

Trading results only matter when the context is clear.

How DayTradePal discusses performance Clear labels
Result type
Live, prop-firm, simulated, replay, and backtested outcomes are not treated as the same thing.
Account context
Performance depends on account type, rules, fees, slippage, configuration, and execution conditions.
Market context
DayTradePal starts with ES futures and a focused morning operating window.
Risk context
No automated trading system can guarantee profits, payouts, or loss prevention.

DayTradePal does not sell certainty.

DayTradePal avoids profit guarantees, payout guarantees, and certainty claims about trade outcomes. Any performance material identifies whether results are live, prop-firm, simulated, hypothetical, replay, or backtested, and whether costs, commissions, fees, slippage, data, and platform expenses are included where applicable.
